Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas is redefining the electric vehicle (EV) experience with its innovative EVHQ Charging Park. This first of it’s kind charging facility opened in March 2023. Friendly Chevrolet’s EVHQ is a full-service charging facility featuring eight 120 kW fast chargers, protective canopies, and amenities like a dog park, fire pit lounge, and café. Notably, the park is open to all EV drivers, regardless of brand, attracting a diverse clientele—only 25% of monthly charging sessions are for Chevrolets, with the remainder including brands like Porsche, BMW, and Ford.

Owner Mark Eddins, a 12-time Chevrolet Dealer of the Year, envisioned the EVHQ as a community hub that not only supports EV adoption but also introduces non-Chevy owners to Chevrolet's competitive EV lineup. This strategy has led to numerous customers trading in other EVs for Chevrolets. Eddins projects that the EVHQ Charging Park will serve over 10,000 unique charging customers this year, delivering approximately 2 million kWh of energy.

Further enhancing its commitment to EV drivers, Friendly Chevrolet has introduced the EVHQ Mobile Recharge Unit—a 24/7 mobile charging service designed to assist EV owners facing emergency power shortages. This initiative underscores the dealership's dedication to customer support and innovation in the EV space.

In addition to these services, Friendly Chevrolet offers attractive financing options on its EV models. Currently, well-qualified buyers can benefit from 0% APR financing for 60 months on all 2025 Blazer EVs and Equinox EVs - visit our home page for more of Friendly Chevrolet’s available offers.
