When I purchased my 2005 C6 Vert in Dec 2004 the dealer, Friendly Chevrolet, Dallas, TX, said they would provide tires for the life of the car. Having 45 years of experience dealing with automotive retailers I said, OK, and thought, "What's this catch?" A couple times over the last 3 ? years I asked my service writer, Louis La Barbara if it was for real. He said it is as long as you get it serviced there, which I do. The only thing I have had done is a couple of oil changes for $15-20, as I bring my own Mobil 1 and AC filter. I have had several warranty claims like steering sensor and squeaky breaks but all covered under original warranty or my GMPP.
Well, today was the day. I have 22,500 miles and was down to the wear bars. I went up there and said I was ready for new tires. Without another word, 4 original equipment C6, Z51 tires. That is the GY F1 Supercar EMT tires that come on the Z51 equipped Corvettes. No cheap imitations, not the less expensive GS tire, the F1 Supercar tire. I was charged $59.95 for removing and installing the 4 tires, plus $6.00 environmental fee, and .50 tax, but still $66.45 out the door for 4. I know where I am getting my C7 from…

I just wanted to express how pleasant and quite refreshing my first service experience at Friendly Chevrolet was with my 2008 Saturn Vue. Of course being a long time Saturn owner, I was a little hesitant as I searched for a new dealership to have my vehicle serviced. I scheduled my appointment through your website and found it to be very user friendly. The extended service hours were a convenient factor as was the fact I would be provided a ride to work or possibly be given a car from the onsite rental company. From the moment I entered the parking lot, everyone was cordial and helpful. Ana Lucas was my service advisor today. She cheerfully greeted me as I rolled in around 8:15 am. She looked through the papers that I had brought in about the car’s service history and assured me which maintenance selection was appropriate for my car at this time. She tried to make everything easy from the beginning. The onsite car rental is great! I was able to use a rental car which was covered by my warranty and was on my way to work in less than 15 minutes from the time I arrived. I left knowing Ana and the service crew would take great care of my vehicle.
A little after noon, I had a voicemail and email confirming my car was ready to be picked up. My checkout process was as quick and smooth as the drop off this morning. My maintenance service, as well as a warranty issue, had all been completed and my car was washed and ready to go! It was just nice to have an completely positive experience on my first time in. It was evident that everyone was very busy but they still were thorough and took the time to make sure you were taken care of on an individual basis. I will most definitely call Friendly Chevrolet my new home (and Ana my new service advisor) for all of my Saturn’s service needs and I will definitely pass on the good word to other Saturn owners. Five stars for everyone!!! It really just made my day.

Dear Mr. Hannigan,
About a month ago, I was driving up I-35 N and ran out of gas. I coasted into your parking lot. I went into service and asked Mr. Labarbera if I could borrow a gas can. He said, "No, but we will put gas in your car." He sent Chad to do so. At the end, I asked Mr. Labarbera if I could pay him for the gas and he said, "No."
A lot more transpired in our conversations, but the gist is that both employees were incredibly professional, courteous, and helpful--the epitome of your dealership's name. I drive three Mercedes and a Porsche, but this experience is getting me thinking, "Is it time for a Suburban?"
In fact, Mr. Labarbera said that if I were driving a Chevrolet instead of my 1963 Mercedes at the time, the car would not have run out of gas, because Chevrolets don't run out of gas!

Please get comfy, because I have a lot to say. Many times after having work done, I am simply amazed at the expense! Yes, I did agree to it, but it's not like I can fix it. It is a must. I need to be able to depend on my car. Being in a safe car sometimes is expensive! What I'm trying to say is the dealership holds all the cards and the customer not so much! When I told Anna about my missing floor mat, I never dreamed it would be replaced! Wow!! My husband couldn't believe it!! I have been bragging to everyone, both in Dallas and Corpus. Everyone has been very impressed. You just can't buy that kind of good P.R.--but you did! I say thank you and I am proud of the service I received. :)

We live in a small town about 115 miles South of Dallas, Groesbeck. We were in the market for a good first vehicle for our 16 year old daughter and I tried to find something that was in our price range around here-Waco Area. Not only could I not find anything, but the sales people were not people that I really felt comfortable with. I took a chance and called information for Chevy dealers in the Dallas area and got the Friendly Chevy number. I was connected to Scott Bary. From the beginning of our conversation I knew I wanted to buy a vehicle from him. We spoke many times in a 24 hour period and I made the deal over the phone. We drove to Dallas yesterday evening to sign the paperwork and pick my daughters 2008 Chevy Silverado Pick Up. The entire process was perfect. Scott is a wonderful salesman. I just wanted you to know that when I am in the market for a new vehicle again I will make the trip to Friendly. Scott deserves a good "WAY TO GO"

I want to take a moment to let you know about my experience today at Friendly Chevrolet. This is the second vehicle I've bought from Friendly in the past eight months. I returned to Friendly because, speaking frankly, you people are friendly. You live up to your name. More than that, you are professionals. Let me be specific. The vehicle I bought today is for pleasure, not business or work; it is a luxury rather than a necessity. I felt no compunction to buy a new vehicle unless my terms as to quality, price, and financing were met. So, I purposely set the bar for those terms high. I met with Mark Mingo three weeks ago, and after some negotiation and back-and-forth shuttle diplomacy with Sales Manager Tom Munks, we were unable to consummate a deal. So for the next three weeks, I shopped around.During that time I experienced dealers whose attitude seemed to be if I didn't buy in the first half hour after a brief test drive, they weren't interested in working with me. Take it or leave it. That doesn't work in today's economic environment. Messrs. Mingo and Munks never gave up. They stayed in touch, keeping the ball in the air until (could I believe it?), they met my terms. Quality - in the vehicle I purchased, as well as your dealership, was always there; but when they met my expectations as to price and financing (even finding me a very favorable interest rate on a pre-owned vehicle), well, again speaking frankly, how could I refuse? To further enhance my experience, Business Manager Giovanni "Gio" Di'Chiara was a true professional, continuously presenting your financing products without pressure, only with straightforwardness, transparency, and (best of all) integrity - the way business should be done. All in all, I can honestly tell you that I left your dealership feeling, well, friendly. Believe it or not, I drove home smiling. It was a pleasure meeting you personally, and I look forward to doing business with you and Friendly Chevrolet in the future. Speaking frankly again, if all car dealerships were run like yours, the American auto industry would still be the world leader. I was hit in the rear, which totaled my 2009 Malibu. Alicia, my sales rep, came to the accident scene and picked us up and made us feel like the most important customers. I was so upset the car was totaled out and because of the Gap insurance we now want to replace the car with a 2010 Impala. The wreck had me so stressed out but your employees made the difference in our mood after such an issue. I only want to deal with Alicia because of her concern and the friendship she has shown us. She has restored my faith. I am NOT just a sale. Great job Alicia Stover! She has made me a customer for life.
